Book Pass
If you like reading books but don't always want to go to a discussion group, this club is for you. Each member will select one book to read and then pass it to the next reader in the group. By the end of the year each will have had the opportunity to read 12 new books.
Here is how it works.
1. Select one new book (and a backup) preferably released in the last 6-9 months.
- Before purchasing check with the book pass coordinator to make sure the book has not already been chosen by another member.
- Here is a list of books that Lake Forest Book Store
has provided of newly released reads or you can pick something else you want to read.
- Each person will purchase one new book. Hardback books are strongly preferred for their durability throughout the passing year.
2. Sign up for book pass by registering online on this website.
3. The book pass coordinator will maintain and share a list of each person’s book selection to make sure there are no duplicates within the group. She will then create the book pass schedule and share it with you in August.
4. Beginning on the first Monday in September (September 5th), you will pass your book to the next person on the list and someone else will pass you a new book. You will pass to the same person each month.
5. You will have until the first Monday of the next month to read the book and then you will pass it to the next person and another book will come your way.
